As part of our writing, Kauri wrote a ‘We Are ….’ poem about the class. (Mr M would just like to say that he is not really crazy at all)

WE ARE KAURI

WE ARE:  Enthusiastic Super heroes

We wonder if we will age as well as Mr M

We hear noisy children and happy voices

We see pixel art and our work

We want a pet rat for company instead of handwriting

WE ARE:  Enthusiastic Super heroes.

We pretend to drive imaginary cars in the classroom

We feel happy for the year in front of us

We touch the walls because they are interesting

We worry about earthquakes and Mr M’s moustache

We feel sad when someone teases us

WE ARE:  Enthusiastic Super heroes.

We understand that Mr M is a bit crazy

We say “Yay!” when we go on a field trip and camp

We dream of a good class and hot milo

We try to persuade Mr M to give us gumballs

We hope our university will win and for the world to be a better place
